Kathleen Ward

Kathleen grew up in Texas and while attending Texas A&M Univsersity, enrolled in an enology class which sparked her interest in winemaking. Her interest quickly turned to passion when she was able to apply all the science and chemistry she had learned to making wine. After graduating with a BSc, Kathleen moved to Napa Valley to further her knowledge of winemaking. Her career began as an intern for Failla Wines which became a full time cellar position post harvest. She was an enologist at Acumen Wine for 4 years before becoming assistant winemaker at Theorem Vineyards in early 2018.

Sarah Christensen

Sarah has always loved amazing food and wine. After graduating from Texas A&M University, Sarah moved to California to work in higher education fundraising. While she enjoyed her work, she spent most of her free time cooking, exploring her new foodie city, taking cooking classes and wine tasting classes. Ultimately she left fundraising to attend culinary school in Los Angeles. Sarah and her husband are raising their two young children to love food as much as they do.

Kaibab Sauvage

Born and raised on the Western Slope of Colorado to a small peach farmer and a water chemist. Kaibab Sauvage, the owner operator of Colorado Vineyard Specialists (CVS) has been fascinated with nurturing and growing fruit his whole life. After graduating from Colorado Mesa University cum laude with a B.S. in Biology-Chemistry Minor in 2000, he returned to the fields in Palisade and began his wine grape growing career and business. Kaibab and his team are dedicated to producing high quality grapes for use in Premium Wines as well as strengthening and progressing the Colorado Wine industry; fully embracing that great wines start in the vineyard. A self-described research grower, he has been passionately seeking the best cultivars and locations for Colorado’s unique climate. In addition to growing exceptional grapes, CVS provides vineyard consulting, installation and vineyard management services.
